This home is the original structure in a well-established Lehigh Valley neighborhood, and (for good or bad) has many original details. The existing kitchen in the home was very cutting edge. Unfortunately (or fortunately, depending upon your perspective) it was 1960’s cutting edge. The color was a most unappetizing green, the layout was congested, the space was tiny, and the appliances were failing. The redesign of this space was a collaborative process involving the homeowners’, their designer, our architect, and our company designer. The end result is everything that the 1960’s kitchen wasn’t. It is light and airy, the colors and finishes are fantastic, the work zones are separate, and there is plenty of room for multiple cooks and guests.
